Winter?

 Spring Skunk Cabbage

Skunk cabbage, the yellow plants in the foreground, are a common site in late April. But snow isn’t! We woke up Sunday morning to an inch of snow. Garrett was excited. Dave and I were not. But we took advantage of the situation and played outside all morning – throwing snowballs and making tracks. It turned to rain and melted by dinnertime, but I heard that we tied a 1999 record for the latest snowfall of the season.
